I’m so excited to finally share Latrice & Drew’s mountain wedding that was at Wedgewood Weddings Mountain View Ranch. Latrice & Drew had a small, intimate wedding this past summer with their closest friends and family. The day started with the girls getting ready in the bridal room finishing up their hair and makeup. While the girls were finishing getting ready, the guys were next door in the groom’s room getting ready themselves. Of course, their dog Greg was in attendance since he was also serving as the Ring Bearer. Latrice & Drew’s wedding was one that I’ve been looking forward to all year. Mainly because this was the wedding venue that my husband and I were married and it was my first time back there since then. The place was exactly as I remembered it, with a few small changes and it immediately brought back memories of my husband and me at our wedding. Once the guys were ready my 2nd photographer took them outside to get some fun photos of them. Of course, they included Greg in their photos. He was practically the Best Man. As soon as the guys were done they headed over to the ceremony spot on the other side of the ranch. Latrice and the bridesmaids headed over to the ceremony as soon as the guys were gone.

A Perfect Summer Colorado Mountain Wedding

You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for Latrice & Drew’s Colorado mountain wedding. It was not very hot and no chance of rain. In Colorado, we don’t get April showers and tend to get June showers (sometimes snowstorms) instead. Latrice & Drew exchanged their vows in front of all their closest friends and family. You could just see how happy everyone was for them. Once the ceremony was over, Latrice & Drew made it official by signing their marriage license. We then followed that up with family portraits and bridal party portraits. I loved all of the different jewel tones that Latrice incorporated into her bridesmaid’s dresses and all of the other small details throughout their wedding. Their couple’s portraits were just as amazing as we walked around the beautiful property of Wedgewood Mountain View Ranch. You get some amazing views of the surrounding mountains from the ranch.

The party got underway soon after. Again, a lot of colorful jewel tones were incorporated into their wedding decor with blue and purple colored geodes that were also table assignments for guests. One of the highlights of the wedding was a caricature artist that was drawing portraits of all the guests. Towards the end of the night, I managed to get Latrice, Drew, and Greg outside for some fun photo just in time for the sun to set and the Colorado sky didn’t disappoint. It was a great way to end the night.
