Tania & Chris | Mt. Falcon Park Engagement Photography | Colorado Engagement Photographer
As a Colorado native and Mt. Falcon Park Engagement Photograper, the red rocks nestled in the foothills of the mountains are an iconic part of the Colorado landscape. Tania & Chris’ engagement session last year was nothing short of iconic. Both of them had just recently moved from Florida and Chris has been serving in the U.S. Marine Corp for several years now. They are now calling Colorado their permanent home. Tania really wanted to incorporate that part of their lives into their engagement sessions and I was more than happy (and excited) to accommodate that.
We met up at Mt. Falcon Park in Morrison, on a Sunday evening for their Colorado Engagement Session. For the many music fans, Morrison is also home to the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater. Known as a geological phenomenon, Red Rocks Amphitheater is the only naturally-occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheater in the world. Many famous acts have played here, including Sting, The Beatles, and U2. The iconic red rock formations can clearly be seen from Mt. Falcon Park. They make an incredible backdrop for any session, including Colorado family portrait sessions, Colorado maternity portrait sessions, and Colorado senior portrait sessions.
Tania, Chris, and I started their Colorado Engagement Session near the main parking lot before hiking our way up the trail. I decided to go ahead and get the photos of Chris in his military fatigues at the beginning of the session. That way he could easily change out of them since we were closer to the car. After getting a few military inspired photos, both Tania & Chris changed really quick. Chris is a huge New England Patriots fan and wanted to get some photos of them in their jersey’s. As a life long Denver Broncos fan, it’s understandable that there was some fun taunting that went back and forth. Plus he also got some heckling from other people hiking along the trail. After getting some fun photos of them in their jersey’s, they changed again and we continued hiking along the trail to get some additional photos. Check out the rest of their epic Colorado Engagement Session below.
Thank you Tania & Chris! And thank you, Chris for your service & dedication to our country. If you haven’t check out their amazing wedding photos at Wedgewood Ken Caryl in Littleton, Click Here to see them.
