When it comes to family, I can honestly say I have been blessed with one made up of some of the most kind and loving humans. My little sister, Maegen, is not the exception, but the example of this sort of spirit we all share. She is fiery, outspoken, soft-hearted, and one of my most favorite people.
When I met Maegen and Josh in Boulder for their South Mesa Trailhead Engagement Session, I found that their joy was contagious. Framing a beautiful couple, clearly in love, and surrounded by epic scenery made my job … well, pretty easy.
Maegen and Josh met long ago. Their paths crossed, but did not intertwine until years later. When Josh met Maegen’s girls, it became pretty clear – it was simply meant to be. Our family was thrilled to welcome Josh and to watch these two come together, building their new life in Massachusetts.
Maegen’s journey has not always been the easiest one, but she has persevered with grace and has never lost her empathetic heart. Her finance, Josh, brings the perfect balance, and together with my two nieces, they create a beautiful little family. Since the whole family was visiting, we even took advantage of the time to get a fun family photo session in as well.
The only thing that’s left to do is make this whole thing ‘legit’ in November! I’ll be flying East to document the intimate ceremony these two have planned.
