The Irwin Family is up on my blog today. This Broomfield, Colorado Family & Maternity Portrait Session took place last February and since then, the Irwin’s grew by one more. Sweet baby Savannah came into the world soon after and everyone couldn’t be happier. Their older daughter Rhyanne was so excited for the new baby and is the best big sister to Savannah. I also had the pleasure of photographing Savannah’s newborn photos…so stay tuned as they will be on my blog soon.

Annie really wanted a water feature in their photos and we found the perfect spot in Broomfield with a pretty cool waterfall fountain. Since it was winter, naturally the water was frozen over. However, it did make for a really neat backdrop for the maternity and family portraits. We started out with Annie by herself to show off her cute baby bump. I really loved the red gloves that she wore that contrasted well against her dark grey dress. It also paired well with the cute little red shoes that would eventually be Savannah’s. After several portraits by herself, we eventually added Tom, and then Rhyanne to complete the family portraits.

Even though it was cold, the weather was still really nice out and we were able to get plenty of maternity and family portraits. I am very happy with the results and I know Annie was too.
